Guildenstern is a 2016 Trakehner stallion who was licensed in Neumünster in 2018 as 1 of only 13 licensed stallions. He is from the very first foal crop of the young Millennium son Ivanhoe and will begin his testing and show career in 2020. He has been tested N/N for WFFS Guildenstern was imported to the USA for the 2020 breeding and show season. Guildenstern was bred and prepared for licensing by the renowned Trakehner farm Gestüt Poll. He is by Ivanhoe (E.H. Millennium/E.H. Hohenstein) and out of a damline containing Supreme Champion Mares Gute Sitte, Guayana, and Gute Welt. This damline has also produced the approved stallions Ginster, Guter Stern, Guter Planet, Glenn Grant, Guardian, Gallardo, and Gundo (CRO). His damsire is the Grand Prix winning stallion E.H. Imperio, ridden by Hubertus Schmidt.
