60th Trakehner Stallion Market: December 1-3

Looking for an early Christmas present; the countdown has begun for the 60th Trakehner Stallion Market from December 1-3 in the Holstenhallen Neumünster. All licensing candidates, auction mares and auction riding horses are now online at https://bid.trakehner.auction/auctions. These young hopefuls will be introducing themselves via video, current photos, presentations in German and English, as well as detailed pedigrees.

Forty stallion candidates reflect the entire diverse spectrum of modern Trakehner breeding when youngsters representing all disciplines will be presented for licensing. Powerful dressage movers, performance-focused half-breds for versatility, attractive jumping talents, and this year an especially large number of the young stallions will be available in the sale.

The Trakehner sales team will provide personal and individual advice in the run-up to and during the stallion market, because it is no coincidence that ‘Trakehner are horses for life’. The riding horses can be tried out in advance as well as during the event by appointment.

Trakehner mares are legendary, and countless breeders have bought their first mares in  Neumünster, laying the foundation blocks for successful breeding. It’s no accident that top genetic quality will be offered in 2022 – an appropriate collection for the anniversary year. Type and movement strength are the basic requirements, awards such as champion or reserve champion mares of the central registrations or premium titles are almost a matter of course.
